Traditional Hand Stitched Designs
I specialise in recreating accurate, high quality replicas of the old style speedway race jackets that were used on track from the dawn of the sport up until the early 1990s. These are typically hand stitched designs but may also contain design elements that were originally screen printed onto the jacket.
Personal Bespoke Service
I provide a personal bespoke service to ensure that you will get the race jacket you want, whether it’s for your speedway collection, on track use or bought as a gift. I only make race jackets to order so this means I can work closely with you to identify, research and make the specific race jacket for your needs.

Original, Remake or Replica?
Since I’ve been making race jackets I’ve noticed that copies can vary greatly in their quality and design accuracy, how they are described and what they are called, which can all be a bit confusing. I’ve therefore set out some brief definitions of what the terms ‘Original’, ‘Remake’ and ‘Replica’ mean to me.
Classic Speedway Collection
I have a growing collection of original race jackets, race suits and classic speedway bikes that I display at shows, events and speedway meetings across the country. My philosophy is to share my display with the public rather than hide it away in a private collection.
I’m always looking to add items to my collection so please get in touch if you have anything you would consider selling or loaning for display.
About Me
I first saw speedway when Ipswich Witches re-opened in 1969 and made my first race jackets when grasstrack racing during the 1970s. After riding a speedway bike at one of Olle Nygren’s Training Schools I raced in amateur meetings before joining the ‘Blast From The Past’ vintage speedway troupe.
Having now stopped riding, my passion is making race jackets and helping to keep alive memories from the golden age of speedway.
